This is our new website and the beginning of a new era. The purpose of this website is to continue the the great work that the Facebook page has being doing and to reach out even further and do more events and promotions.

Poetry Ireland Day
Thursday 28th April
We have registered with Poetry Ireland as an event so they will market and promote our event as well as others.
What is our event I hear you say:
The theme is "Written in the Stars"
Write a poem with this theme or on a theme close to it. Any poem of your choice will also be accepted.
Submit the poem to: shopirishwriters@gmail.com
On the day, the poems will appear on this website as blogs showcasing the talent in the group.
A link and one picture is also welcome to accompany the poem.
Looking forward to this event which will be advertised and promoted by Poetry Ireland.
