(Eco) Message In a Bottle

A message in a bottle, drifting aimlessly at sea

A plea from one in need, for someone else to see

The note inside the bottle tells a tale of woe

Of oceans filled with plastic and marine life below

The writer begs for help to clean up this mess

To stop the endless cycle of pollution and distress

But what will happen when this bottle comes ashore?

Will the finder read the message and then toss it once more?

Or will they see the truth and take action to save the sea?

Will they join the fight for a better world for you and for me?

The choice is in our hands, to protect this planet we call home

To reduce our plastic use, and give the oceans room to roam

So let this message be a call, to all who hear its plea

To take responsibility, and keep our sea, plastic free

No longer should we ignore, the impact we have on this earth

Let's work together to make a change, and give our seas a chance at rebirth
