A Message in a bottle

A message in a bottle cast out to sea,

With words of hope and longing set free,

To journey far, on winds and waves,

Through storms and calm, to unknown caves.

It bears a tale of love, of dreams,

Of sadness and joy, of all in betweens,

An uncertain journey, an unknown way,

With words of comfort, to light the way.

A wish to connect, to reach the shores,

To find a heart that this message implores.

Years may pass, the bottle may roam,

Through sun and rain, from sea to foam,

The wind and waves may howl and wail,

And toss the bottle, like a ship in a gale.

But within it holds, a message of peace,

A reminder of love, never to cease.

As the bottle floats, across the blue,

Its message of hope, to me and to you.

Is that no matter the distance, no matter the time,

Love will always be there, just like the sunshine.

In its depths, the words remain,

A beacon of hope, that shines like a flame.

And then one day, on an incoming tide,

A stranger will find this bottle of dreams, and read what's inside,

A link to the past, a bridge to the heart,

A message that journeyed so far, from a humble start.

Then let the bottle set sail once more,

With hopes and dreams, it's mission to explore,
