Gazing into darkness A symphony of stars Glittering brightly Yesterday’s dream Flickers by A wounded speck Disintegrating Silver threads Shooting across This black expanse We follow This constant sense Weaving through Our mottled mind This blot This point of light Breaking free Teased By one last gleam Fading into dawn We mourn this loss: Of not knowing you Your soul entrenched In every gasp of air A celestial asterisks Above Circling The globe each night.
